Xanadu Entertainment announced on the 24th that the late singer Park Bo-ram, who passed away last April, will re-release her previous songs, including "As Time Goes By," on her 10th debut anniversary on August 7th.
"As Time Goes By" is a song Park Bo-ram performed in an R&B version during her first live broadcast stage on Mnet's audition program 'Superstar K2' in 2010, earning high praise.
Park Bo-ram was preparing her 10th-anniversary album and recorded this song as her final piece before her passing, making it a significant song symbolizing both the beginning and end of her career.
The decision to release this track was made at the request of her family and colleagues. Fellow contestants from 'Superstar K2' and other acquaintances participated in this commemorative album to honor her memory.
Xanadu Entertainment stated, "The proceeds from this album will be donated in Park Bo-ram's name to support the underprivileged, including elderly people living alone and orphans."
Park Bo-ram gained attention in 2010 on 'Superstar K2' with her outstanding singing ability and confident demeanor. She officially debuted in 2014 with "Beautiful," which ranked 19th on Melon's annual chart that year, enjoying great popularity.
She continued her career with hits such as "Pretty Person," "Wanna Date?," "Why, You?," and "Don’t Try So Hard."
Park Bo-ram's sudden passing occurred on April 11th this year after collapsing during a gathering with acquaintances, leaving fans in sorrow.
