SEOUL, June 28 (Yonhap) –- J-Hope (real name Jeong Ho-seok), a member of the group BTS, will be first unveiling a song that will be included in his solo album on July 1.

According to Big Hit Music on Tuesday, J-Hope will be releasing the new song “MORE” at 1 p.m. (00:00 eastern US) on July 1 according to the Korean time.

This song is a pre-release track for the solo album “Jack In The Box,” which will be released on July 15.

On the same day, J-Hope posted a picture of him on social media, wearing a black outfit and wearing a hat reminiscent of Pierrot.

"The pre-release track 'More' is one of the songs that reveal the core message of J-Hope's solo album as it talks about J-Hope's wish to 'show more things’,” the agency explained.

J-Hope will be showing a side of him as a solo artist through this album.

He is known to have participated in the overall album concept and composition in addition to working on the song.

This album will be released as “Weverse Albums,” where one will be able to freely view all the songs and photo contents by scanning the QR code through the “Weverse Album” app.

J-Hope, who debuted as a member of BTS in 2013, is active as a rapper and a dancer in the team.

With “Hope World,” a mixtape (non-regular album) he released in 2018, he ranked 38th on the US Billboard's main album chart, “Billboard 200,” and collaborated with the singer and actor Becky G for “Chicken Noodle Soup.”
