SEOUL, May 27 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group Seventeen will release the fourth full album “Face the Sun” on May 27.
Seventeen has revealed the teaser image featuring various objects including stairs, ropes, sun, and maps, which imply the concepts, through its official social media page.
Earlier, the group pre-released their first English song “Darl+ling” on Apr. 15.
“Darl+ling” ranked No. 1 on the iTunes chart in a total of 34 countries, including Singapore, Philippines, Egypt, and Indonesia. Moreover, it also topped the Japanese major music platforms, such as Line Music and mu-mo.
Moreover, the pre-orders for Seventeen's fourth full album "Face the Sun" surpassed 2 million copies at home and abroad, according to the agency Pledis Entertainment and record distributor YG Plus.
As Seventeen sold more than 1 million copies for every album that they released since the third full album "An Ode” in 2019, including “Heng:garæ,” “Semicolon,” “Your Choice,” and “Attacca,” there has been great attention towards the group’s fourth album.
The group will also hold its third world tour "Be the Sun" at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul from June 25 to 26 and continue in 12 North American cities until Sept. 6.
