S.Korean actor Lomon from 'Revenge of others' "I tried my best to look like a hero"

SEOUL December 16 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actor Lomon cemented long lasting impression of himself through his high school zombie role, and revenge he showcased through another production.

Actor Lomon who appeared within the production of “All of us are Dead” as a high school student being chased by number of zombies, continued on with his career through a Disney Plus series “Revenge of Others” as a high school student who provides revenge to others.

“I won’t be able to pull off these characters after few years,” addressed actor Lomon when asked about the fame he received after appearing in school related series consecutively throughout the interview conducted at a café in Jongno on Thursday.

“Revenge of Others” is the first series Lomon partook as a lead role, actor, participated in the production for the role of protagonist Ji Soo-heon, who is extremely talented in martial arts who goes takes offers on pulling revenge for victims of school bullying.

Protagonist Ji Soo-heon, acted by Lomon is naturally very kind, however he falls into the whole scheme of revenging for others in order to pay for his mothers treatment. He live the double edged life where he studies and lives his normal life in the morning and lives a violent life at night.

“Protagonist I acted out is a very nice kind character, however due to given situation he starts to participate in revenge,” adding “Despite of harsh situation, he tries to look on the bright side and to continue on with his life.” addressed actor Lomon throughout his interview.

Continuing on actor addressed, “When in a scene of revenge, I have tried to speak out more clearly because I wanted to look as if I am the character who brings judgment to those who is guilty of their behaviors,” adding “I through really hard to find what I need to do to look more like a hero while participating in the production.”

Actor Lomon who continuously ran around throughout “All of Us are Dead,” showcased more violent and active action throughout the production of “Revenge of Others.”

Throughout the series actor showcased very rough and violent actions such as tying up the attacker and breaking his leg for rapping a student of his age and more every episode of the series.

Actor showcased confidence as he was complemented of his actions throughout filming.

“When I first started filming the scenes I was very emotionally soft, therefore I couldn’t really act out the fight scenes, however as I progressed throughout the shooting, I got more engaged,” adding “After the shooting I was asked of question of whether I punched the other action way too hard than I needed to,” addressed actor Lomon throughout his interview regarding the series “Revenge of Others.”

Disney Plus series “Revenge of Others” added more of the attraction point by including a murder mystery of the death of a victim who suffered from school bullying, Park Won-seok, acted by Kang Yeol.

“Throughout the production even the actors and casts were unaware of the actual suspect, therefore we started to guess who the real killer is.” adding “As a result it felt like we were all playing a big game of mafia, after the series premiered some people asked me whether I was the real killer, from a viewers perspective I would have thought the same way.” said actor Lomon throughout his interview.

Actor Lomon will be participating at the production of the second season of the “All of us are Dead” in 2023. Although it might be pressuring for the actor to participate in a similar genre of dramas consecutively, actor addressed that it school series have its own merit.

“I guess if I have to pick a merit I would probably pick its innocence, portrayed throughout the series,” adding “As an adult, when we are presented with the choices, we tend to look for the most beneficial path, however students tend to act to their own instinct.” addressed actor Lomon throughout his interview.

As the interview progressed, actor addressed, “I would like to participate in more brighter production,” adding “I would love to work on a school related series where I can only worry about good grades instead of life or death situation.”
