SEOUL, July 28 (Yonhap) -- IU, who met her fans through the movie "Broker" in June, is returning as a singer.
"IU will be holding a solo concert 'The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun' at the Olympic Stadium in Jamsil, Seoul for two days on September 17 and 18," announced her agency, EDAM Entertainment.
This concert is the first concert in three years since the "Love, Poem" concert which was held in 2019 at 4 cities in Korea and 6 cities in other Asian countries.
"It will be a place for IU to return on stage and share a more sincere music story with fans than ever before," the agency said.
She is the first Korean female singer to perform at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, the agency explained.
Seoul Olympic Stadium can accommodate up to 100,000 spectators, including standing seats, and is known as a "dream stage" for singers.
Recently, the group BTS and singer Psy held a concert there.
