SEOUL, Feb. 18(Yonhap) – S. Korean singer CL will appear in diverse overseas festivals, including “SUMMER SONIC” in Japan, according to Very Cherry on Friday.
CL will participate in this event, which is the largest summer music festival in Japan, from Aug. 20 to Aug. 21. "SUMMER SONIC" was not held in 2020 and last year due to the spread of COVID-19, but will be resumed after 3 years in 2022.
It is the first time in 5 years that CL is joining this event since 2017. At that time, the singer performed in collaboration with an American musical group Black Eyed Peas.
CL will also appear in “Sound Money Fest,” which will be held in Florida on Apr. 9 and “We Are One Music + Arts Festival” in Texas on May. 15.
