SEOUL, Apr. 18 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer Hwang Chi-yeul will release a new mini album “By My Side” on May 12, according to the agency TEN2 Entertainment on Apr. 18.
It is the singer’s new album in about 8 months since the digital single “Too Late,” which was dropped in September, 2021. It has also been a year and a month since Hwang released a physical album.
Hwang has formed his own worldview of his music with the “Be” series, starting from the first mini album “Be ordinary,” “Be myself,” and “Be My Reason.”
The singer made himself known through the Chinese version of “I Am a Singer” in 2016 and has drawn attention as a Hallyu star.
Hwang will also hold the concert “2022 Hwang Chi-yeul concert – Spring(translated)” ahead of the release of his new album at YES 24 Live Hall from Apr. 29 to May 1.
