SEOUL, Dec. 28 (Yonhap) -- "Welcome visitor" whooper swan has dropped by Dangjin Habdeoje, a monument of South Chungcheong province and World Heritage Irrigation Site, presenting a magnificent sight.
Natural monument whooper swan usually breeds in North of Eurasia continent and pass the winter in Europe, near Caspian sea, and Korea.
Also called swan, whooper swan's feather is white, but in the breeding season, parts of the body becomes yellowish.
Official from Dangjin city said, "Hundreds of whooper swans visit Habdeoje annually and spend the winter here," adding, "Along with the snows that have fallen over the few days, they create beautiful scenery."
