SEOUL,
Aug. 11 (Yonhap) --
Agency Bighit Music said on Monday that Cortis uploaded the music video for “Go!,” the intro track of its debut album “Color Outside the Lines,” to the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.
Cortis is Bighit Music’s first new boy group in six years, following BTS and Tomorrow X Together. The five members are Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun and Geonho.
“Go!” conveys the group’s bold ambition to color the world in their own hues, with lyrics drawn from the members’ real-life experiences, such as “I’ve been a bit different in the neighborhood since I was young.”
Filmed in Los Angeles, the video captures the members’ playful and carefree moments, such as cooling off under a car wash spray or running with a camera in their mouths, creating a free-spirited atmosphere. All members took part in writing and composing “Go!” and are credited as co-directors of the video.
Cortis will release the title track “What You Want” from its debut album at 6 p.m. on Aug. 18, with the full album set for release on Sept. 8.
