SEOUL,
Jan. 6 (Yonhap) --
According to agency BigHit Music on Tuesday, the central staircase of the Sejong Center was decorated the previous day using the logo of BTS’ fifth full-length album, its release date and the group’s name.
“BTS has grown from a group that started in Korea into one that performs on the global stage,” BigHit Music said. “As the group makes a long-awaited comeback as a complete lineup, we decided to hold an offline promotion in Korea — their cultural roots — and in the heart of Seoul in particular.”
The agency added that the outdoor advertising campaign will be expanded to major cities around the world, including New York, Tokyo and London.
A sculptural installation featuring the logo of the new album was also placed at the top of the staircase, drawing attention from passersby.
BTS is set to release its fifth full-length album on March 20, capturing “the BTS of today,” and will embark on a large-scale world tour following the release.
