SEOUL, July 29 (Yonhap) -- Film Director Jang Hang-jin’s new movie “Rebound” finished its filming after 3 months, its production company BA Entertainment announced on Friday.
The movie is based on a true story of Joong-ang high school in Busan making it to final without replacing any players in 2012. Writer Kwon Seong-hwi from the movie “The Spy Gone North” and Kim Eun-hee, spouse of director Jang Hang-jin, wrote the scenario.
Ahn Jae-hong took the role of team’s coach, Kang Yang-hyeon, and Lee Shin-young played the role of team’s leader, Cheon Ki-beom. Jeong Jinwoon, Kim Taek, Jeong Gunju, Kim Min, and Ahn Jiho played the players of the team.
Director Jang said, “Practices began in cold winter and the production ended in summer,” adding, “It feels like actors and staffs have traveled together for a long time at a distant place.”
