SEOUL, Dec. 27 (Yonhap) – SM Entertainment(SM) introduces the new project “Girls On Top(GOT).”
“Girls On Top(GOT)” is a new concept project where female artists of SM introduce new combinations of units with diverse themes. SM said starting from their first unit “GOT the beat,” they will unveil different kinds of attractive units with a variety of combinations.
“GOT the beat,” the unit that starts off the project based on powerful dance music and performances, consists of BoA, Tae-yeon and Hyo-yeon of Girls' Generation, Seul-gi and Wendy of Red Velvet, and Winter and Karina of aespa.
SM announced the start of the project on Dec. 27 (KST) by releasing the first teaser image through SMTOWN’s official social media page.
“GOT the beat” will perform the special stage of their new song at SM’s free online concert “SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA” on Jan. 1, 2022 at 1 p.m (KST). The group also plans to release the album through music platforms on Jan. 3 at 6 p.m.
