SEOUL, March 11 (Yonhap) -- Tributes from fellow artists continue to pour in as the K-pop industry remembers singer Wheesung, who suddenly passed away.
Rapper Verbal Jint shared a black-and-white photo on his Instagram on Tuesday, writing, "Every moment we shared was an honor, and I'm grateful. You've worked so hard, rest in peace, Wheesung."
Verbal Jint and Wheesung had a history together, having been active in the S&P (SNP) black music club on the PC communication platform Naunuri.
Singer Yoon Minsoo also shared a video of him and Wheesung performing a duet of Toy's "I Lived By Your Side" on a past broadcast, expressing his condolences. Yoon Minsoo wrote, "Wheesung, let's sing and make music freely in that place. I won’t forget your pure and clear heart. Let's meet again someday and sing together."

Singer Kim Changyeol commented, "It's so sad and I'm sorry. I hope you're not in pain over there..." as he paid his respects.
Group 2AM's Changmin wrote, "You were really the artist I wanted to be like. I will remember you. Rest in peace."
Meanwhile, Wheesung's fans have been leaving memorial comments on his Instagram and music streaming sites. One user wrote on his last Instagram post, "My teenage years were all about you," adding, "I loved you so much, I laughed a lot and cried a lot. Please watch over me from the sky."
On the Melon track page for his hit song "Insomnia," a fan commented, "Every song and every lyric feels so sad," and added, "Thank you so much for everything."
Wheesung was found dead in an apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 10th. He debuted in 2002 with "Don't You Know" and became immensely popular with hit songs such as "With Me," "The Day We Meet Again," "Incurable Disease," and "I Even Thought About Marriage."
