SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Yonhap) -- KBS will exclusively air Sim Soo-bong’s concert for Chuseok holidays after its big success with Na Hoon-a concert in 2020.
The local broadcaster announced Friday that it will present dubbed “2021 Chuseok Special Production: Rise Korea Sim Soo-bong” for Chuseok in September.
“The veteran singer will send an encouraging message to people struggling amid the COVID-19 pandemic that we have ‘done well, is doing well and will do well,” said an official at KBS.
“In celebration of the nation’s biggest holiday, she has prepared a special ‘contactless’ concert.”
The exclusive TV performance of the top diva in 26 years means special as she gained popularity for mutiple hit songs such as “Million Roses,” “I Don’t Know Anything But Love,” “The One I Remember,” “Man Is Ship, Woman Is Port.”
“Through collaboration with KBS producers, Sim will present the audiences, who are having a hard time due to pandemic and scorching heat, a glittering smile with her heartwarming voice.”
