SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korean star actor Jung Woo-sung has tested positive for coronavirus on Nov. 29, his management agency said Wednesday.

"It has been more than two weeks since Jung Woo-sung received his second shot of COVID-19 vaccines, however he was tested positive," Artist Company said. "The actor has gone into self-quarantine and is taking appropriate measures according to health authorities' guidelines."

Jung currently has no schedule for filming movies or dramas.

However, Jung took the stage with actor Lee Jung-jae as presenters at the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards held at KBS Hall in western Seoul on Nov. 26.

Artist Company added that during the awards show, Jung showed no symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, and wore a mask the whole time except for when he presented the awards.

Lee was tested negative before leaving the country to attend the 31st Gotham Awards in New York after taking part in the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
