SEOUL, August 22 (Yonhap) -- “Escape from Mogadishu” is reopening on Chuseok Holiday, Korean thanks giving.
Director Ryoo Seung-wan’s movie “Escape from Mogadishu” is premiering for the second time on September 7, announced distributer Lotte Entertainment on Monday.
Movie “Escape from Mogadishu” premiered on July of 2021 and attracted over 3.6 million audiences throughout pandemic era.
Reopening of “Escape from Mogadishu” provides audiences with more options to choose from. So far “Confidential Assignment 2: International” is the only South Korean movie that will be screed throughout Chuseok.
Movie “Escape from Mogadishu” is about South Korean and North Korean personals escaping Somalia through civil war in 1991. Actor Kim Yoon-seok, Jo In-sung, Heo Joon-ho, Koo Kyo-hwan and more starred in “Escape from Mogadishu.”
