SEOUL, May 5 (Yonhap) -- Kai of South Korean boy band EXO will hold a fan meeting prior to his mandatory military service, his agency said Friday.
The 29-year-old will hold his fan meeting at Seoul’s Yes24 Hall on May 9, according to the post uploaded on the SM Entertainment fan community Kwangya Club. The event will be held free of charge via pre-applications, and will also be live broadcast on EXO’s official YouTube channel.
His enlistment was expedited due to a recent change in the Military Manpower Administration’s rules. Kai had been reportedly preparing for the act’s forthcoming album.
His enlistment day befalls on May 11.
