BTS 'My Universe' re-enters Billboard Digital Song Sales chart

SEOUL, March 2 (Yonhap) -- K-pop superband BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe” succeeded in re-entering the US Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart.

“My Universe” ranked No. 10 on the Digital Song Sales chart, according to Billboard’s latest chart released on Mar. 1 (local time).

The song also ranked No. 29 on Billboard Global 200, No. 20 on Billboard Global (Excl. the U.S.), No. 1 on Rock Digital Song Sales, No. 2 on Alternative Digital Song Sales, No. 10 on Hot Rock & Alternative Song, and No. 30 on Adult Contemporary chart.

BTS named a total of 5 songs including “My Universe,” each on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (Excl. the U.S.) chart, which rank songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries.

On the Billboard Global 200, BTS entered the chart by ranking “Butter” at 50th, “Dynamite” at 58th, “Stay Alive” at 98th, and “Permission To Dance” at 147th.

On the Billboard Global (Excl. the U.S.) chart, the group set records with “Butter” at 29th, “Dynamite” at 35th, “Stay Alive” at 67th, and “Permission to Dance” at 92nd.

The “MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA,” released in April 2019, ranked No. 69 on the Top Album Sales chart, and the group’s fourth full album “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7” ranked No. 72 on the same chart.

The album “BE,” which was released in November 2020, ranked No. 61 on the Top Current Album Sales chart.
