SEOUL, March 21 (Yonhap) -- Director Bong Joon-ho’s film "Mickey 17" has maintained its No. 1 position at the daily box office for 21 consecutive days. However, its lead is under threat this weekend as Japanese anime "Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter – The Last Attack" gains momentum in advance ticket sales.
According to the Korea Film Council’s integrated ticketing system on March 21, Mickey 17 attracted over 21,000 viewers the previous day, securing 21.5 percent of total box office revenue and holding onto the top spot. Since its release on February 28, the film has remained at No. 1 for 21 days, with a cumulative audience of approximately 2.706 million.
However, weekday attendance has dropped significantly, with daily admissions halving compared to March 13, when it recorded around 40,000 viewers.

Meanwhile, Attack on Titan drew approximately 18,000 viewers, placing second with a cumulative total of 273,000 viewers.
Disney’s live-action "Snow White" ranked third, with around 11,000 viewers. It initially debuted at No. 2 on March 19 with 23,000 admissions but saw a sharp drop in attendance within a day.
As of 9:25 a.m. on Friday, Attack on Titan leads in advance ticket sales with a 17.0 percent reservation rate and over 50,000 pre-sold tickets.
Following closely are Kang Ha-neul’s new thriller "Streaming" (12.7 percent reservation rate, 37,000 tickets) and Snow White (10.9 percent, 32,000 tickets).
Mickey 17 currently ranks fourth in pre-sales with a 9.3 percent reservation rate and approximately 27,000 advance tickets sold.
