SEOUL, Sept.28 (Yonhap) -- The National Police Agency appointed actor Jung Joon-ho as Honorary police officer and ambassador for prevention of lease fraud on Wednesday.

Jung said, "I have been supporting policemen by appearing on various promotional videos produced by them, but I feel proud and responsible now that I have been officially appointed as honorary police officer."

The actor filmed a video explaining how to prevent lease fraud at the National police agency on that day.

Actor Shin Hyun-joon was appointed as ambassador for prevention of Phone fraud. He was promoted to honorary lieutenant after being appointed as honorary sergeant in May 2018.
