SEOUL, Dec. 15 (Yonhap) -- The Netflix series “D.P” (Deserter Pursuit), a story of military police with their mission to capture deserters, will return with season 2.
Director and co-writer Han Jun-hee will work together with writer Kim Bo-tong once again to create the second season according to Netflix, Wednesday.
“D.P” is a military drama that features the Deserter Pursuit Unit (D.P.), Joon-ho (Jung Hae In), and Ho-yeol (Koo Kyo-hwan) and their story of facing the reality they had never experienced while chasing deserters with various stories.
The series earned worldwide praises for depicting the story of army deserters and military police sharply and in a sensitive way. “D.P” was ranked among the top 10 international TV shows in 2021 by the New York Times.
The first season ended with Private Joon-ho walking in the opposite direction from the other soldiers after the tragic event that devastated and hurt everyone.
Film Production Climax Studio will take charge of the production in the following season 2.
