SEOUL, April 25 (Yonhap) -- Nexon announced on the 25th that Nexon Foundation, an organization established by Nexon Company that focuses on the sustainable expansion of social contribution activities, will hold the first "Borderless Performance: PLAY Edition" at Sejong M Theater of the Sejong Center For The Performing Arts.

Nexon explained that Borderless is a project to expand the value of games as cultural contents by supporting experimental art creation using game intellectual property (IP).

Nexon Foundation held a contest under the theme of "meeting of games and traditional art," and had three teams compete on the final round this January.

At the end, the "Hyundai Yeonhee Prototype 21" team, which performed a variety of performance, including Sitgimgut (shamanist ritual for cleansing a dead person's soul) to commemorate MapleStory's representative monster, "Slime," took the final victory.

On May 11th, "Hyundai Yeonhee Prototype 21," the team that won will be holding a solo performance, while on the 12th, the three finalist teams will present a stage that combines the intellectual property (IPS) with traditional art for the games including "MapleStory," "Kart Rider," and "The Kingdom of the Winds" respectively for the gala performance.

Tickets can be reserved through the official website of the Sejong Center For The Performing Arts or the Interpark [035080] from 10 a.m. today.

The ticket costs 10,000 won. Nexon Foundation announced that it will be donating all the money from the performance for the public interest.
