SEOUL, September 23 (Yonhap) -- SM Entertainment announced that the co-representatives of SM Entertainment, Lee Sung-soo and Tak Young-joon, met Haifa Bint Mohammed Al Saud, the princess and Vice Minister of Tourism, on September 21 at the new SM building located in Seongsu, Seoul, to talk about their collaboration.
Seven officials from the Saudi Arabian Tourism Ministry, including Sarah Al Saud, princess and director of policy and planning of the Saudi Arabian Tourism Ministry, and officials from the Saudi Tourism Authority attended the event.
SM Entertainment and the representatives from Saudi Arabia discussed measures to collaborate in the cultural industry, such as holding SM's global concert brand "SM Town Live," producing video content and festival events, and creating a venue for festivals.
This conference was driven by Lee Soo-man, the chief producer of SM Entertainment, who visited Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and met the local public figures. The Saudi Arabian Tourism Ministry requested that they would like to visit the SM Entertainment building.
