SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Yonhap) - Girl group BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom", which is a pre-released song of the second full-length album, has exceeded 500 million on Youtube, according to YG Entertainment on Saturday.
The music video hit 500 million views at 1:07 a.m. on the same day.
"Pink Venom" is a hip-hop genre song with BLACKPINK’s unique charisma, drawing attention by placing traditional instrumental sounds in the intro.
The music video broke the world record for female singers by recording 9.4 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, and achieved 100 million views in 29 hours and 35 minutes, the fastest among K-pop girl groups.
