SEOUL, Dec. 18 (Yonhap) -- Boy group BTS and band Coldplay's joint song "My Universe" has stayed on the U.K Official Singles Chart "Top 100" for 12 weeks in a row.
The song marked 92nd place which is 6 steps lower than last week, according to the chart revealed on the 17th (U.K time).
After its release on Sep. 24, it entered the chart as 3rd place, its highest rank. Later it ranked 12th, 15th, 5th, 7th, 13th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 86th and 92nd ranks.
The joint project drew keen attention from the pop music industry as the collaboration single between BTS, famously known to have one of the largest global fandom, and Coldplay, dubbed as the most commercially successful band.
The song includes Korean lyrics written by BTS members. The two bands presented a joint stage in front their fans around the world at the “2021 American Music Awards” which took place last month.
