SEOUL, Oct. 22 (Yonhap) -- Singer Jung Dong-won (14), dubbed as the "trot prodigy," will release his first full-length album on Nov. 17, according to his management agency Showplay Entertainment on Friday.

This upcoming album will come after six months since Jung released his digital single "My Favorite" this May, and is produced by famous songwriter Cho Yeong-su.

Showplay Entertainment mentioned that "Jung Dong-won has worked hard for more than a year and a half to prepare a full-length album."

After appearing in the Hamyang County special episode of KBS' "National Singing Contest" in 2018 as well as reality shows like "Screening Humanity" and SBS' "Einstein," Jung became known as the "trot prodigy." However, Jung instantly shot to stardom and gained even more popularity after auditioning on "Mr. Trot" and ranking fifth in the finals with his excellent singing skills.
