Red Velvet’s Joy drops first solo mini album

SEOUL, Aug. 19 (Yonhap) -- Joy of K-pop girl group Red Velvet released her first solo mini album “From Joy, with Love” on Monday, SM Entertainment said.

The six-track album includes the title song “Love Splash!” as well as a variety of songs themed around different aspects of love.

Upon release, the album topped Hanteo’s daily chart and all its tracks entered Melon’s “Hot 100.” 

The album also ranked within the “Top 10” of iTunes “Top Albums” chart in 20 countries, including Italy, Greece and Brazil.
