SEOUL, Nov. 9 (Yonhap) -- “PUBG Mobile” has been selected as e-Sports for the 2022 Asian Games, its producer KRAFTON announced Tuesday.
The Olympic Council of Asia has selected 8 games including PUBG Mobile and League of Legend, Arena of Valor Asian Games Version, EA SPORTS FIFA branded soccer games, Dota 2, Hearthstone, Street Fighter V and Dream Three Kingdoms 2.
PUBG Mobile was a collaboration between KRAFTON’s subsidiary PUBG Studio and Tencent in 2018. Its number of downloads is over a billion.
The game company will come up with the game’s Asian Games Version.
