SEOUL, Mar. 20 (Yonhap) -- British pop star Harry Styles is to hold his first concert in Korea at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on the afternoon of the 20th and meet Korean fans.

According to the performance agency Live Nation Korea, Harry Styles has appeared in the pop music industry as a five-member boy group One Direction formed by the cast of the British audition program "The X Factor" in 2010.

One Direction was sensational as a global boy group, with its first to fourth full-length albums topping the U.S. Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" and accumulated about 70 million album sales.

After One Direction took a break, Harry Styles went solo in 2017 by releasing his single "Sign of the Time."

"As It Was” in his third album, which was released last year, was a great success, topping the UK official single chart 10 times and topping the Billboard single chart 15 times.

In particular, Harry Styles was honored with the "Album of the Year" award at the Grammy Awards, the most prestigious popular music awards in the U.S. last month for his third album, "Harry's House."

The tour is part of Asia tour, including Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and Japan.
