SEOUL, Apr. 28 (Yonhap) – “LALISA,” the solo song that K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s Lisa had released, surpassed 200 million streams on the global music platform Spotify, according to the agency YG Entertainment on Thursday.
It is in about 7 months since the release of the song in September, 2021.
Lisa set a record of 200 million streams in the shortest period among the K-pop female solo artists with the song “MONEY” achieved on the 65th day since its release. The singer ranked both the first and second place in this category.
Earlier, among the K-pop female solo artists, the fellow members Jennie’s “SOLO” and Rosé’s “On the Ground” have exceeded 200 million streams.
