SEOUL, Dec. 30 (Yonhap) -- Singer and painter Solbi (real name Kwon Ji-ahn) has transformed into a daily mentor for blind children.
According to her agency MAPCrew, Solbi conducted a "Cake Sculpture Project" on Wednesday at her studio located in Yangju where blind and non-disabled people worked together to complete the painting.
On this day, ordinary students who have been volunteering with Solbi, blind elementary school students, and blind artists participated in the event to complete their own sculptural cake paintings. Solbi joined as mentor and artist, teaching various art techniques.
Solbi said, "I want to provide more opportunities for people with visual impairments to experience art and express their imagination in their heads through various curriculum."
