SEOUL, June 14 (Yonhap) -- Pop star Ariana Grande has decided to continue her relationship with Hybe America.
Hybe announced on the 14th that Grande has signed a new business partnership contract with Hybe's U.S. subsidiary, Hybe America.
However, the specific contract period and terms were not disclosed. It is known that Grande has transitioned her existing management contract to a new terms partnership contract.
Through this contract, Grande will also join Hybe's fan community platform, Weverse.
Hybe explained, "Weverse, which consistently expands its lineup of domestic singers and actors as well as overseas artists, has gained significant momentum with Grande's addition."
Hybe America also plans to continue its collaboration with Grande's beauty brand, REM Beauty.
Grande formed a relationship with Scooter Braun's SB Projects under Ithaca Holdings in 2013. After Hybe acquired Ithaca Holdings in 2021, she became part of Hybe America.
Grande is a pop star recognized for her excellent vocal ability, expressiveness, and musicality.
Her recently released seventh studio album topped the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the U.S., and the track "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" from this album reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Additionally, several tracks from her fifth studio album released in 2019 simultaneously swept the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100.
Hybe America manages global stars such as Justin Bieber, The Kid Laroi, Ozuna, and rapper Carly.
