SEOUL, Mar. 14 (Yonhap) -- The movie "Killing Romance," starring actors Lee Ha-nee, Lee Sun-kyun and Gong Myoung, is to be released on the 14th of next month, distributor Lotte Entertainment said on Tuesday.

 

"Killing Romance" is a comedy film about top star Yeorae (Lee Ha-nee), who left the entertainment industry, plotting an extraordinary comeback operation with her fans.

 

Lee Ha-nee plays the role of top star Yeorae, who decided to retire after being ridiculed for her so-called "bad acting."

 

Lee Sun-kyun plays Jonathan, a chaebol who helps Yeorae, who came to an island in the South Pacific to avoid people's eyes, and Gong Myoung plays Bum-woo, a repeat examinees who is a member of Yeorae's fan club and is about to take the fourth CSAT.

 

Lee Ha-nee and Lee Sun-kyun have worked together in the drama "Pasta" (2010) and Lee Ha-nee and Gong Myoung in the 10 million movie "Extreme Job" (2018), and they met once again through this film.

 

Director Lee Won-seok of the movies "How to Use Guys with Secret Tips" (2012) and "The Royal Tailor" (2014) took the megaphone, and writer Park Jung-ye, who is in charge of the adaptation of the movie "Beauty Inside" (2015), wrote the scenario.
