SEOUL, March 3 (Yonhap) -- Group WINNER’s member Kang Seung-yoon will make a solo comeback.
“Kang will make a solo comeback on Mar. 14,” said agency YG Entertainment, on Thursday.
It has been a year since the artist released his first solo album “PAGE” on Mar. 2021. At that time, Kang, who took his first step as a solo singer, participated in writing and composing all songs and showed off his aspect as a singer-songwriter.
Ahead of his comeback Kang said, “If I had concentrated on the storytelling in the first album, I was fully immersed on music while singing the songs in this album.”
Kang first gained popularity through 2010 Mnet’s “Super Star K2.”
The singer then participated in YG rookie group debut program “WIN: Who is next?” and showed off his musical talents in the team by participating in writing the song “REALLY REALLY.”
In addition to his solo activity, Kang is also preparing for the upcoming WINNER's concert.
WINNER will hold a “WINNER 2022 Concert” at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Seoul from April 30 to May 1.
