SEOUL February 22 (Yonhap) -- One of the representing festival of Jung district of Ulsan City, “Maduhee Festival” will return with not only a renovated title “Taehwagang Maduhee Festival” but also expansion of their festival site up to Taehwagang River.
According to the Jung District Government on Wednesday, committee for the upcoming “2023 Taehwagang Maduhee Festival” has been gathered and carefully looked over changing the title of the festival, schedules of the events, ideas for the events and more.
Festival committee agreed upon changing the title from Ulsan Tug Of War Maduhee Festival” to “Taehwagang River Maduhee Festival.”
As the committee agreed upon expanding the festival site from within the inner circle of the city of Jung district to Taehwagang River, they have also agreed upon adding Taehwagang river into the title of the festival.
The Upcoming “Taehwagang Maduhee Festival” will continue on from June 23 to June 25.
Mayor of the Jung district of Ulsan City Kim Young-gil addressed “In order for the upcoming festival to attract various audiences within different generation we will do our best to come up with unique and interesting contents suitable for individual generations.”
