SEOUL, June 14 (Yonhap) -- Boy group TXT's second full-length album, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," ranked fifth on the "Billboard 200" chart, according to Billboard on Sunday (KST).
This is TXT's highest ranking achieved on Billboard's main album chart, surpassing their previous record of No. 25, which was achieved by its EP "Minisode 1: Blue Hour"
Among the K-pop groups, only six teams have entered Billboard 200's 'Top 5' ranking spots, including BTS, BLACKPINK, SuperM, NCT 127, and Monsta X.
In comparison to the previously listed K-pop groups, it is notable that TXT has achieved the same records as a rookie group.
Big Hit Music, TXT's agency said, "The performance set by the group in its third year of debut is the highest ever and the highest ranking among K-pop artist albums released this year."
