SEOUL, June 16 (Yonhap) -- S. Korean singer Lim Young-woong will meet fans in Seoul in August.

Mulgogi Music announced on June 16 that Lim Young-woong will hold a national concert “IM HERO” in Seoul for three days from Aug. 12 to 14 at the Olympics Gymnastics Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

The Gymnastics Stadium holds more than 10,000 seats and is a performance venue only for idols and famous foreign musicians.

Lim Young-woong's first full album “I'm Hero,” released last month, sold more than 1 million copies and became a 'million-seller' record.

The three-day concert will also be streamed online. The last day will be broadcasted live through “TVING,” and an online live streaming service will also be provided.

The entertainment official said, “As all seats were sold out as soon as tickets were released, Lim Young-woong specially requested the online stream for fans who were not able to get their tickets.”

Lim Young-woong made his debut with the digital single “Hate You” in 2016, and has steadily built up his popularity.

In 2020, he gained his popularity by taking first place in the TV contest program “Mr. Trot.”
