SEOUL, July 8 (Yonhap) -- Musical “Crash Landing on You” based on the drama will be performed at COEX Shinhan Card Artium, Gangnam, announced the production companies POPMUSIC and T2NMedia.
Premiered on tvN in 2020, Drama “Crash Landing on You” is about the love story between the heir of a conglomerate Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin) and Ri Jung-hyuk (Hyun Bin), a North Korean military officer.
At the time of its airing, the drama recorded the highest rating of 24.1% in the tvN drama history, and the main actors, Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin, getting married after the drama became a hot topic.
Last March, POPMUSIC and T2N Media signed a contract for the publication rights to adapt the musical, and director Park Ji-hye, scriptwriter Park Hae-rim, and composer Lee Sang-hoon will be participating as production crews.
