SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Yonhap) -- Winner of Canne prize in 2007, Jeon Do-yeon, is joining cast with Ryu Jun-yeol for JTBC’s upcoming series, “Lost”, directed by Hur Jin-ho, set to be broadcast from Sep. 4.
The series is a special drama for JTBC’s 10th anniversary.
For the upcoming special series, JTBC rescheduled its current drama aired on Fridays-Saturdays, 11 p.m. to Saturdays-Sundays, 10:30 p.m.
“Lost” depicts the stories of Bu-jeong (Jeon Do-yoen), who lost purpose of life after failing to achieve anything and Kang-jae (Ryu Jun-yeol) who stands at the end of his youth feeling afraid he may become nothing.
Jeon Do-yeon, winner of the Best Actress prize in 2007 Cannes Film Festival with “Secret Sunshine”, is returning to the small screen after 5 years from her last TV series, “The Good Wife” (2016).
It is also the first TV series that director Hur is in charge of, as he has only directed films until now. Hur is well known for his melo drama films such as “One Fine Spring Day” (2001) and “Christmas in August” (1998).
