SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- Lisa, the rapper-dancer of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, will present her solo debut stage on a popular American TV show.
Lisa will appear on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Sept. 10 (local time), YG Entertainment said on Saturday.
The 24-year-old's first individual single album "Lalisa" will also released at 12 a.m. on the same day.
Hosted by actor-comedian Jimmy Fallon, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is one of America's most popular talk shows. Politicians such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump, as well as world-renowned artists such as BTS, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande, have also appeared on the show.
In March, the main vocalist of BLACKPINK, Rose, who made her solo debut before Lisa, also performed her chart-topping solo release "On the Ground."
Lisa recently heated the K-pop scene by announcing her comeback by posting a series of teaser photos and videos.
The first 26-second teaser video, which was released on Aug. 28, surpassed 12 million views on YouTube in a week, drawing attention from fans.
The single physical album also surpassed 700,000 pre-orders in just four days during the pre-sale period, setting the highest record as a K-pop female solo artist.
