BTS' Jimin X Ha Sung-woon's soundtrack 'With You' tops Billboard's 'Digital Song Sales'

SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) – K-pop superband BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe” has entered the U.S. Billboard’s global chart for 31 consecutive weeks.


The song ranked No. 34 on “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.) and No. 47 on “Billboard Global 200,” according to Billboard’s latest chart released on May 3(U.S. Time).

These two charts rank songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries.

BTS ranked at the top of the chart for 31 consecutive weeks since the group released “My Universe” in September, 2021. The song also ranked No. 21 on “LyricFind Global” and No. 23 on “Alternative Digital Song Sales.”

The group’s other hit songs have also been constantly entering the global chart.

The mega-hit song “Butter” entered “Billboard Global 200” at 37th, while “Dynamite” and “Permission to Dance” each ranked No. 53 and No. 176.

On “Billboard Global(Excl. U.S.)” chart, the group ranked “Butter” at 30th, “Dynamite” at 40th, and “Permission to Dance” at 92nd.

The soundtrack “With You” for the drama “Our Blues,” sung by BTS’ Jimin and S. Korean singer Ha Sung-woon, topped the “Digital Song Sales” chart on Apr. 24, which was a week after its release.

The major albums of the group maintained the upper rank of the world chart as well.

The album “LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her,” which was dropped in September, 2017, ranked No. 82 on “Top Album Sales” and No. 2 on “World Album” although it has been released over four years ago.

Besides, a total of six albums, including “BE(No.4),” released in 2020, entered the Top 10 of “World Album.”
