SEOUL, June 15 (Yonhap) — Netflix announced on 15th that they decided to simultaneously produce season 2 and season 3 of “Sweet Home”, and confirmed the casting line up.
“Sweet Home” received positive feedback for depicting the struggles of residents living in an isolated apartment “Green Home” in an intense manner to face the neighbors who turned into monsters, created by their own desires.
Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si, and Park Gyu-young who survived in season 1, will also appear on Seasons 2 and 3.
Hyun-soo (Song Kang) who managed to escape from the green home after hardship but was caught by the soldier, Sang-wook (Lee Jin-wook), who appeared with the disappeared burn scars, and others contain the story to be drawn in a world where monsters and humans coexist.
Yu Oh-seong, Oh Jung-se, Kim Mu-yeol, and Jin-young will join as new characters.
Yu-Oh seong takes the role of Sergeant Tak In-hwan, who leads a special force guard unit established to protect people from monsters. Oh Jung-se takes the role of Dr. Lim, a vaccine researcher.
Kim Mu-yeol plays Kim Young-hu, a former UDT sergeant and the number two of the special guard unit after Yu Oh-seong, and Jin-young appears as soldier Park Chan-yeong, also in the special guard unit.
Director Lee Eung-bok,who successfully led season 1, will be directing seasons 2 and 3.
