Apink’s Yoon Bomi to marry composer Rado next May after nine-year relationship

SEOUL, Dec. 18 (Yonhap) -- Yoon Bomi, 32, will marry composer Rado (Song Joo-young, 41) next May after nine years of dating, her agency With Us Entertainment said on the Thursday.

Yoon announced the news in a handwritten letter posted on her fan cafe, saying, “I have decided to share my future with someone who has been by my side for a long time, sharing everyday life with me through both joyful and unsteady moments.”

“I will continue to live firmly and responsibly in my place, just as I always have,” she wrote, adding, “And I promise to repay Pandas [Apink’s fandom] with even better activities as both a member of Apink and as Yoon Bomi.”

Yoon and Rado have been in a relationship since 2017.

Rado is the main producer of girl group STAYC and a well-known composer who has created hit songs for artists such as TWICE and Chungha.

He also composed Apink songs including “Only One” and “HUSH,” forging a musical connection with Yoon.

Apink is set to make a comeback on Jan. 5 next year with its 11th mini-album, “RE : LOVE,” marking the group’s 15th debut anniversary.
