SEOUL, Jan. 6 (Yonhap) -- K-pop major groups, such as NCT, NCT 127, and TWICE, succeeded in ranking on the U.S. Billboard's main album chart, showing their steady presence in K-pop.

According to Billboard's latest chart released on the Jan. 5 (KST), NCT's third full album "Universe" ranked No.32 on "Billboard 200.”

The "Billboard 200" ranks the albums by adding numbers of streaming and digital album downloads, which are converted into album sales, to the actual album sales.

NCT's "Universe" ranked slightly lower than last week (No.20), but succeeded in entering the chart for 2 weeks in a row. The album topped the “World Album” chart for 2 consecutive weeks as well.

NCT 127, a unit group of NCT, has ranked on the chart for 15 consecutive weeks.

“Sticker,” the third full album released in September, 2021, ranked No.88 on the recent “Billboard 200.”

The album entered No.3 on “Billboard 200” and “Artist 100” charts in the first week of its release and topped four charts: “Top Album Sales,” “Top Current Album Sales,” “World Album,” and “Independent Album.”

“Formula of Love: O+T=<3,” which was released last year, ranked No.79 on “Billboard 200” this week.

TWICE has entered “Billboard 200” in No.3 and went down to No.16, No.26, No.66, and No.84 after achieving the group’s highest rank and went back up to No.36.

The ranking fell slightly this week, but it succeeded in entering the chart for 7 weeks in a row.

TWICE ranked No.88, which is 23 ranks below that of last week (No.65), on "Artist 100," which ranks artist’ performances based on the comprehensive count.
