SEOUL, April. 16 (Yonhap) -- The Museum of Contemporary Art Busan has announced on Sunday that it will hold "Busan MoCA Cinemedia" until August 6 as a biennial exhibition program in the second exhibition room of the museum.
“2023 Busan MoCA Cinemedia” is the first new type of movie exhibition to be attempted.
Under a comprehensive theme ranging from ecology, anthropology, political economics, and film history, the exhibition presents a wide range of films, ranging from installation works to movies and virtual reality works.
It will screen more than 100 films by 78 film directors, including Saodat Ismailova and Cai Ming-liang, who are drawing attention at the same time.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Busan will also invite domestic and foreign directors, critics, and scholars to prepare forums and lectures.
Admission to the exhibition and participation in the linked event are free.
