SEOUL September 19 (Yonhap) -- “Today marks 14thh anniversary of my debut as a singer, I feel very lucky to be able to perform a concert on a perfect day while celebrating my anniversary. “

On the night of September 18, a giant screen has been place in the Olympic Main Stadium. In front of those screen appeared South Korean singer IU, who turned 30 in Korean age. Fans of IU painted the stadium brightly with chant stick specifically designed for IU.

The title of the concert which S.Korean singer songwriter IU celebrated her 14th anniversary of debut at the stage where artists often times dream of performing, Olympic Main Stadium, is called “The Golden Hour : Under the Orange Sun.”

South Korean artist IU appeared on to the stage through a spitted screen on a harness shaped like a swing covered in flowers performing the track “Eight” which is produced by SUGA from K-pop super group BTS, in mid air. After performing “Eight”, she continued on with her concert with “Celebrity,” “Hold my hand” and her numerous hit songs.

In celebration of IU’s concert which is being held in three years since her last concert in 2019, fans wore purple clothes which represents IU, and waited in line to take photos at a photo booth located around the Olympic Main Stadium.
