SEOUL, Feb. 7 (Yonhap) -- Group Enhypen will drop the digital single “Always” on Feb. 22 in Japan, according to agency Belift Lab, Monday.
This is the second Japanese original song after the track “Forget Me Not,” from the debut single “BORDER: 儚い,” which was released in July 2021 in Japan.
“Always” is the theme song of NTV’s Wednesday drama “Muchaburi! I Am the President!” This is the first time the group has participated in the drama soundtrack.
Producer Suzuki Akino shared, “I thought an artist who could give strength would be the best choice considering the drama’s storyline, and Enhypen came to my mind.”
“We hope to cheer up everyone who lives today. Please look forward to the drama and the songs,” said Enhypen.
Enhypen debuted in Mnet’s globally televised audition program “I-Land,” and received big attention from fans in Japan with the Japanese member Niki.
The 1st studio repackage album “DIMENSION: ANSWER” which was released last month, topped Oricon’s daily album chart, weekly album chart, and weekly combined album ranking.
