SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Yonhap) -- Actor Kunimura Jun who made a strong impression in a popular Korean horror film “Goksung”(The strangers) as an outsider standing in the middle of a peculiar incident, will meet the Korean audiences once again as a railway driver discovering the meaning of family on the 27th.

“Our Departures” starring Kunimura Jun and Arimura Kasumi is a story of 3 people becoming a family overnight after a person’s sudden death.

When Akira (Arimura Kasumi)’s husband Shuhei passes away, she is left with Shunya, Shuhei’s son between his bereaved ex-wife. The two get kicked out of their apartment in Tokyo due to Shuhei’s debt, so they run to Setsuo (Kunimura Jun), Shuhei’s father whom they have never met.

It has been long since Shuhei cut off his father. When he was in grief for his wife’s death just after she gave birth to Shunya, Setsuo tried to send the baby to his mother’s side. As soon as Shuhei found this out, he left the house with Shunya.

Veteran railway driver Setsuo, rail-lover Shunya and Akira who decides to become an engineer for Shunya – the trio start living together and become a family.

Kunimura Jun and Arimura Kasumi who appeared in last summer film “I Fell in Love Like a Flower Bouquet” draws their becoming a special family fondly and calmly.

Its background, Kagoshima at the most Southern part of Kyushu Japan, the peaceful train station, the blue ocean and the diesel-powered train adds warmth to the production.
