SEOUL, Oct. 4 (Yonhap) -- Stray Kids member Bang Chan marked his birthday on October 3 with a donation of 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea’s “Fruit of Love” fund, as announced by his agency, JYP Entertainment, on October 4.
The funds will be allocated to support individuals with developmental disabilities, aiding in sports training programs to enhance athlete skills and establishing health screening systems for physical fitness improvement.
This contribution also makes Bang Chan a member of the “Honor Society,” a recognition program for donors of over 100 million won run by Fruit of Love.
Bang Chan shared his gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful to share even a small part of the meaningful love I've received from fans on my birthday. I hope this donation reaches those in need."
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is set to perform at the American Music Awards on October 6 (local time), marking the second-ever K-pop group appearance at the event. The group is also on their domiNATE world tour, with upcoming stops in Singapore, Melbourne, and Bangkok.
On November 13, they will connect with their Japanese fans by releasing their second full-length Japanese album, GIANT.
