SEOUL, Dec. 1 (Yonhap) -- Marvel's latest superhero film "Eternals," starring actors Angelina Jolie and Ma Dong-seok, has surpassed the 3 million mark in attendance in South Korea.
"Eternals" drew an attendance of 3.005 million as of 9:30 a.m., after 29 days after its release, according to film distributor Walt Disney Company Korea.
Directed by Oscar-winning Chloe Zhao, "Eternals" has became Korea's most-viewed foreign film for this year to date, beating "Black Widow," which released in July and drew an attendance of 2.961 million.
For Korean movies, director Ryoo Seung-wan's "Mogadishu," which was released in July, has attracted a total of 3.612 million in attendance.
"Eternals," released on Nov. 3, topped the 1 million mark in attendance, four days after its release, and the 2 million mark after the 10th day of its release.
